Fajã do Ouvidor is a Portuguese fajã that belongs to the parish in Norte Grande, Velas municipality and is one of the largest fajãs of São Jorge island, situated on the north coast of the island overlooking a cliff that is around 400 meters high. from the parish of Norte Grande, municipality of Velas. It is also known as Porto fajã.
It takes its name from the fact that Valério Lopes de Azevedo, Ombudsman of the Donatary Captain, was one of its main owners.
It was the year 1948 and the residents made their way from the lookout place to the fajã. Currently the access path is in excellent condition for any car.
